Assemble outside Botanical Gardens, Clarkehouse Road. When parking, please leave space for coach to stop.

Arrive Eurotunnel Terminal, Folkestone

Eurotunnel train departs

Arrive Calais

Boulogne town trail

Arrive at Le Château d’Ebblinghem

Information briefing and fire practice on arrival

Dinner followed by evening activities (making crêpes)

Friday 26 September

Breakfast

Depart for Ypres

Visit to Flanders Fields Museum, about Second World War. Visit Menin Gate in Ypres. Chocolate shopping in Ypres

Packed lunch in Ypres, then visit to Hypermarket

Boat tour of the marshes around Saint-Omer

1730

Return to Le Château d’Ebblinghem for dinner and evening activities (disco)

Bed and lights out

Saturday 27 September

Breakfast. Prepare packed lunches and load luggage on to coach

Visit to Saint-Omer and the morning market

Depart Saint-Omer. Packed lunch on journey to Calais or at tunnel terminal

Arrive Calais

Eurotunnel train departs

Arrive Folkestone

*Please note that at time of printing, this time is provisional. We hope to spend one more hour in Saint-Omer and arrive back at 19.00. If this is the case, we will provide a service-station snack on the journey home.
